If you can open your mind for something different, something unexpected, this one is for you. The Conductor & The Cowboy take a sidestep from their known uptempo releases to deliver something unique. This still has the C&C flavour, but it also reminds of Moby and melodic house releases in a way.
Last year, The Conductor & The Cowboy bumped into STOBY and G Coulter and were asked to do a remix for them. Working on it, the track evolved into what is now the ‘Original Extended Mix’ of Sirens (Beautiful Lies). The track combines the known vocals of Aero with a house piano and the signature rolling basslines from The Conductor The Cowboy, however, this track comes in at only 122BPM. This gives it a unique feel, that is hard to pinpoint under one genre tag.

STOBY & G Coulter gave their blessing to this version, and reworked their track into a brand new remix. With recent releases on Pure Trance (a.o.) and G Coulter being known by classic trance fans as Greg Murray, this could only turn out good. They step away from the housy feel completely and deliver a floating deep progressive trance version.

However, true Trance fans still can be satisfied when they get to the dessert. It’s a true blessing that Enigma State returns once more to the label and delivers another modern classic. Modern because it’s a great sounding production, classic because once again his hardware driven sound transforms this track into something with a true trance feel to it. The way it sounded when Trance became popular for the very first time.

This release is a treat, from beginning to end. Going from the experimental side of The Conductor & the Cowboy themselves, through the deep progressive vibes by STOBY & G Coulter and into peaktime Classic Trance from the hands of Enigma State. No Beautiful Lies here, this is an exceptional package to start your pre-summer!
